The Alley Cats, one of the best hip-hop groups in our area. They've been to Branson and are returning to the Poncan.

The Alley Cats are a perfect blend of musical talent and comedic timing. The Cats never miss a beat as they sing a cappella to the greatest songs we all know and love of the 50s and 60s. Their interaction with audiences combined with their spontaneous humor makes each show refreshing and exciting. They have won over audiences nationally as they relate directly to the crowd with lively humor, engaging stories, and audience participation that appeals to young and old alike.

KATY BOURNE - PRESENTED BY THE PONCA CITY ARTS AND HUMANITIES COUNCIL

Katy Bourne, Jazz Singer and a 1980 Po-Hi grad, comes home as a shining vocalist who can sing as elegantly as the young Nancy Wilson while invading a lyric with both the insightfulness of Anita O'Day and the smolder of Julie London. Performance will be held at the Poncan Theatre with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. and the concert beginning at 7:30 p.m. No tickets are required to attend.

THE PONCAN OPRY RETURNS TO THE STAGE

101 Country KPNC-FM, Heartland Western Outfitters, and the Poncan Theater presents The Poncan Opry Featuring The Poncan Opry Band.

The Poncan Opry returns to the stage with the fourth show of the 2012 season. Featuring the Poncan Opry Band with special guest Zach Coffey.

The Poncan Opry Band has broadened the format to include a wider variety of music for all audiences to enjoy. Along with traditional Classic Country, there will also be Today's Country, Classic Rock 'n Roll, Rhythm 'n Blues, Bluegrass and Gospel at each of the shows.

Individual Tickets Are $16.00 For Adult or $8.00 For Children (12 & under)

THE GLENN MILLER ORCHESTRA

The Glenn Miller Orchestra is a fully self-contained group consisting of the musical director, five saxophone players, four trumpeters, four trombonists, and three rhythm musicians (piano, bass and drums). Also, there are two vocalists, one male and one female, who perform individually and as part of The Moonlight Serenaders® vocal group.

In the Mood, Chattanooga Choo Choo, I’ve Got a Gal in Kalamazoo, and Pennsylvania 6-5000 are just some of the many great big band tunes that will be belted out by The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra as it stops at the Poncan Theatre on Wednesday, June 13, as a part of the bands five city 2012 Oklahoma Tour. It is the most sought after big band in the world today for both concert and dance engagements. Still considered the greatest band of all time, its unique sound is loved by almost anybody that cares for dance music.

Also, a newly commissioned "Oklahoma Medley", which includes Oklahoma songs (with a little Bedlam!) arranged in the classic Glenn Miller style, will be performed during the show.

BUYING TICKETS

You may purchase tickets four ways:

1. Order Online: You may now purchase tickets online using our secure site by CLICKING HERE after purchase, tickets can be picked up during normal office hours at the theatre office, OR on the night of the performance (enter the main theatre entrance and pick up tickets at the "will call" table.)
   
2. At Theatre Office: Our theatre office is located at 104 E. Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK. Tickets may be purchased Monday through Friday from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. (the office is located to the east of the main theatre entrance.)
   
3. By Phone: Call 580-765-0943. Office hours are 1:00 to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
   
4. Night of Performance: Tickets may be purchased one hour before each performance at the theatre office, east side of main entrance.

Exchanges: Exchanges subject to availability.
